Welcome to Restart21 (“we”, “us”, “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how Restart21 — 21-Day Habit Tracker, developed by Dhanasekar K, collects, uses, stores, and protects your information when you use our mobile application (“App”) available on the Google Play Store.
By downloading, installing, or using Restart21, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

- Generate and save personalized achievement certificates to your device gallery
- Display advertisements through Google AdMob to support the free version of the App
- Analyze App usage and crash reports to improve performance, stability, and user experience
- Manage Premium membership purchases and unlock features

6. Data Storage & Security
- Your data is securely stored using Google Firebase with industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest.
- Local data (cached tasks, settings) is stored on your device using AsyncStorage and is never transmitted to any server other than Firebase.
- We do not store your Google account password. Authentication is handled entirely by Google’s secure OAuth 2.0 flow.
- We implement Firebase Security Rules to ensure users can only access their own data.
7. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to any third party.
Your data may be shared only in the following limited circumstances:
- Google Firebase: For data storage, authentication, analytics, and crash reporting as described above.
- Google AdMob: Advertising identifiers may be shared with Google to serve ads. Restart21 itself does not create advertising profiles.
- Legal requirements: If required by law, regulation, or legal process.
8. Data Retention
- Your task data, streaks, and settings are retained as long as your account is active.
- If you delete your account, all associated data in Firebase will be permanently deleted.
- Crash logs and analytics data are retained per Google Firebase’s standard retention policies (typically 90 days for Crashlytics).
- Local cached data is cleared when you uninstall the App or clear app data from device settings.
9. Children’s Privacy
Restart21 is rated Everyone (3+) and is designed for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at the email below and we will promptly delete such information.
10. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Delete your account and all associated data
- Withdraw consent for data processing at any time
- Opt out of personalized advertising (via your device’s ad settings)

11. Advertising
The free version of Restart21 displays advertisements via Google AdMob, including banner ads, interstitial ads, and app-open ads. AdMob may use your device’s advertising identifier and non-personal data to serve relevant ads.
You can opt out of personalized advertising by adjusting your device settings under Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization.
Premium members enjoy a completely ad-free experience with no AdMob data collection.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
