Rangoli Kolam ("the App") is developed and published by dskcode ("we", "us",
"our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how
it is used, and your choices — for the Rangoli Kolam Android application
(package name: com.simplekolam.rangolikolam), available on Google Play.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Rangoli Kolam does not require you to create an account or sign in. The
information collected falls into these categories:
a) Automatically collected technical information
When you use the App, we automatically collect:
- A device push-notification token (Firebase Cloud Messaging / FCM token),
used to send you app-related notifications.
- Coarse, non-GPS location information — specifically your device's
locale country code and timezone (e.g. "IN", "Asia/Kolkata"). The App
does NOT request or use GPS/precise location permissions.
- Basic device/app metadata: platform (Android), OS version, app version.
- A device identifier (Android ID) used internally to identify your
device's record in our database; this is not linked to your name or
any other personal account.
- Usage analytics and crash diagnostics (see Section 2, Third-Party
Services) such as screens viewed, buttons tapped, and crash reports,
collected via Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics.
b) Information you choose to provide
If you use the in-app Feedback form, we collect the name, email address,
subject and message you voluntarily enter, so we can read and respond to
your feedback.
c) Advertising
The App displays ads served by Google AdMob (banner, native, interstitial,
rewarded and app-open ad formats). AdMob may collect an advertising
identifier and related data to serve and measure ads. See Section 2 for
details and your controls.
We do NOT collect precise/GPS location, contacts, photos, microphone,
camera, SMS, or call log data, and the App does not request permissions for
any of these.

2. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Rangoli Kolam uses the following third-party services, each governed by its
own privacy policy:
- Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging, Cloud Firestore)

Data submitted via the Feedback form and the device/FCM information
described above is stored in Google Cloud Firestore, a cloud database
operated by Google on our behalf.

3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use the information described above to:
- Operate and improve the App's core features (drawing designs, settings)
- Send app-related push notifications via FCM
- Diagnose crashes and fix bugs (Crashlytics)
- Understand feature usage in aggregate to improve the App (Analytics)
- Display and measure advertising (AdMob)
- Read and respond to feedback you submit
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
Feedback submissions and device records are retained for as long as
reasonably needed for the purposes above, or until you request deletion.
To request deletion of your feedback submission or device record, email us
at [email protected] with enough detail to identify your submission (e.g.
the name/email used, and approximate date).

5. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Rangoli Kolam is a general-audience app about traditional Indian floor-
drawing art and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect
personal information from children in a manner inconsistent with applicable
law. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact
us at [email protected] and we will take appropriate action.

6. YOUR CHOICES
- You can decline to use the Feedback form if you don't want to share your
name/email with us.
- You can reset your advertising identifier or opt out of personalized ads
through your device's Google Settings ("Ads" section).
- You can uninstall the App at any time to stop all data collection
described in this policy going forward.

7. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted
on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after
changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
